Prayer

We realize that without asking actively for the Lord to intervene in our lives, without engaging Him to move among us, our walk with Christ would be shallow indeed.  And so every Sunday morning beginning at 9am, we meet for prayer in Pastor John’s office.  We pray for

• God to be glorified in our time together
• That our worship would be flowing from a heart that is wholly devoted to our Savior/King
• The people who meet w/ us would leave more convinced of God’s goodness and His desire to direct their lives in ways that bring about a greater dependence upon Him
• That our visitors would be warmly greeted and desire to know God on a deeper level
• That our teachers would experience great joy as they lead their Sunday School classes into a deeper understanding of how God is working in wondrous ways in individual lives as well as the body of Christ.
• That our people would be better equipped to acts of service in our community as we represent Christ Jesus
• That those hurting among us, physically, emotionally, spiritually… would experience the pleasure of the Lord even through their hurt.
