As a church body that believes God’s Word is both inerrant and enriching… Paul tells his son in the faith Timothy this:

2 Tim 3:15-17 – from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

We believe a growth in love for God’s Word is essential to an ever-increasing devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ.  A daily intentional meeting with the King of kings is found by reading His word.  One of the most helpful patterns is DA Carson’s book For the Love of God.  It is a systematic approach to Bible Reading that can help you read the Old Testament once through and the New Testament twice through (+ the Psalm twice through as well) in one year’s time.  Here is the link to Carson’s ‘blog.’ https://blogs.thegospelcoalition.org/loveofgod/
